inspirations...:)

Hi!
I have been reveling since my last blog...Lot of reasons..
watching Oba(mania) and hope in people's eyes
getting to know that "PANTONE 14-0848 Mimosa is the Pantone colour of the year, to cheer us all amidst job losses and other side effects of recession(and it suits me well, too!:) ),
the experience of watching Slumdog Millionaire,
ecstasy of A.R. Rahman's award winning celebration by the nation,
India's 8th ODI win in a row,
few get-to-gether with old friends and lot more!
A minute ago, I came across a presentation, which would be a great inspiration for Designers, especially Interaction Designers
Here is the link: http://www.slideshare.net/dansaffer/new-sources-of-inspiration-for-interaction-designers

This presentation gives examples of how designers can create exemplary designs by bringing together two unrelated things/disciplines.

Just after seeing the last slide of the presentation, I asked myself :
"Is this how some people manage to get inspired to stay happy always?"
"Can this be applied to our lives , too, to achieve a high hapiness quotient, always?"
" Can this help an individual, alter one's perception towards life and ongoing events in life?"

Just a thought....:)
Ciao!

Commotion!-Francobelge design

Hi! Wish you all a very Happy and prosperous New Year!!
Commotion is not tolerable to everybody except the person who is creating it...
This game reminded me of another game which is widely played in China, where the players are allowed to relieve themselves of the day's stress by throwing clay saucers against a wall!
Commotion is a new form of play over a scalectrix style racing toy. The player controls the cars throttle with their voice, through a microphone built into a helmet. The louder you are, the faster the car will go. If you come off the track however, the helmet will shake. An interesting take on the process of play of an existing toy. Video attached!
